Fang then poses with the moneybag until Eggman tells him he's not done yet, and then provides Fang with a drawing he had drawn earlier depicting what resembled a winged cow and told him to locate it. Satisfied with the results, the doctor then hands Fang a giant bag full of money as payment. In Eggman's base, Eggman alongside Fang and Trip are looking at the capsules containing giant versions of Picky, Flicky, Rocky, and Pecky. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy encounter one of Dr. Having learned of Eggman's actions, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy join forces and travel to the Northstar Islands to take the villain down. At one point, Fang comes across a native of the archipelago, Trip, an armored, mysterious girl who is enlisted by the villains to protect and guide them in the islands' hostile environment. To aid him in his operations, he hires the mischievous mercenary Fang the Hunter. Eggman comes to these islands to turn these massive animals into Badniks and steal the Chaos Emeralds to conquer the world. The story takes place on the Northstar Islands, an uncharted, wondrous archipelago known for their giant fauna.
